Connect an AI app / Claude
Connect Chirpy to Claude
Add Chirpy to Claude as a custom connector: Customize, Connectors, Add custom connector, then sign in to Chirpy. Also Team and Enterprise, and Claude Code.
You need a Chirpy plan that includes AI apps (Advanced, Max and Teams). Claude is made by Anthropic; its menus can change, so if a step looks different, look for the place to add a connector or MCP server and use the same address.
Free, Pro and Max plans
- In Claude, open Customize > Connectors.
- Select Add custom connector.
- Name it Chirpy and enter this server URL:
https://mcp.chirpy.me/mcp - If Claude asks how to sign in, choose Sign in now. For the OAuth client, keep Use Claude's published identity. Leave the client ID and secret empty.
- Select Add, then Connect. Sign in to Chirpy, choose what the app can do (Read only, Read and create, or Full access) and select Allow.
On the Free plan Claude allows one custom connector.
Team and Enterprise plans
- An Owner opens Organization settings > Connectors, selects Add, then Custom, and chooses Web if asked.
- The Owner enters the same URL and selects Add.
- Each member opens Customize > Connectors, finds Chirpy (marked Custom) and selects Connect. Sign in to Chirpy, choose what the app can do (Read only, Read and create, or Full access) and select Allow.
Use it in a chat
Select + in the chat box, then Connectors, and make sure Chirpy is on. Then ask, for example: "Draft three Instagram posts about our weekend offer and save them in Chirpy."
Claude Code
claude mcp add --transport http chirpy https://mcp.chirpy.me/mcpThen run /mcp inside Claude Code (or claude mcp login chirpy in your terminal) and sign in to Chirpy.
Add --scope user to use Chirpy in every project.
See or disconnect it
In Chirpy, open Settings > Developers. Your connected apps are listed there, and Disconnect stops one at once.
Other apps: all connection guides.
